The Islamic fashion industry in Indonesia has witnessed significant growth, with women playing a pivotal role in its development. This study explores the role of women in the Islamic fashion sector, focusing on economic empowerment and the implementation of halal management principles. As the largest Muslim-majority country, Indonesia holds considerable potential in advancing the halal fashion industry, particularly in modest women's wear that aligns with contemporary lifestyle preferences. Through skills training and product innovation, women not only contribute to income generation and economic self-reliance but also act as change agents in promoting demand for sharia-compliant products. Nonetheless, challenges persist, including limited understanding of halal standards and constraints in resources. This research highlights the strategic importance of halal certification, international collaboration, and continuous innovation to ensure the economic sustainability of the Islamic fashion industry. Consequently, women's involvement in this sector contributes not only to economic development but also to the preservation of Islamic values and environmental sustainability.
